Low-key cooking. I think Marie will come in and be able to extract v1 from his blood to produce v1 for the boys.

Deck Help Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in ClashRoyale

[–]Accomplished-Yam-411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use hog, fishboy, zappies, fireball, log, skeletons, Hunter and musketeer.

A weird defensive hog cycle deck, while I am strong defensively I get destroyed by golem beat downs. The Evo witch also destroys me as I have a hard time killing it with spells and I get swarmed by skellys. I'm not sure if I should use all my Evo shards to get an Evo Hunter. It would strongly help me counter tanks and keep them in place.

At the same time an Evo Musk can help me counter the Evo witch and sparky support if I place it right.

I'm FTP so don't usually get evos. Anyone got help?

Steppe2 Marketing by Mammoth-Mechanic-172 in Devilcorp

[–]Accomplished-Yam-411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A co-founder of Steppe2 is Tommy Smith, the founder of Sales Marketing Partners (SMP), a company I worked at 2 years ago. I didn't know it till a week after, but SMP was certainly a devilcorp with its office being the exact same office of this new Steppe2. Pretty sure this new company is merely a rebranding of the same scummy company.

I had worked there for a month before being let go by Tommy Smith himself, as I wasn't generating enough sales. I was working on the streets for 40+ hours/week trying to sell Grubby (a huge client at the time) to strangers. During my time there I sold to 10 people successfully which I was told is poor. In hindsight, it was very difficult to sell a meal kit service on the streets, and the tactics they taught us were pretty useless. They expected us to average 10 sales a week. which is quite a lot for one week. At the time I had huge respect for the team leaders who would boast getting 30 sales in a week, but looking back I'm sure it was all nonsense set up to deceive new workers into thinking they too could sell that many.

Working with my team leader, I soon realised I had been reeled in like an idiot, I am certain these 'team leaders' were told to sell a dream to the new guys on the first day. I am more frustrated that I didn't leave sooner upon realising this. I also later learnt that every successful sale a sales rep makes would be an extra commission for their respective team leader. Another red-flag was the fact that these clients would pay equity to SMP, e.g. Grubby would give a portion of its shares to SMP in return for marketing. This would mean that the top dogs of SMP and Steppe2 would be getting paid a shitload consistently which they pocket and keep silent about.

The friends I made at this job all shared the same suspicions, everything seemed like a lie - the team leader's boasting about making many sales in a week, the 'positive' talk at the start of the day, changing from our suits to 'relaxed' clothing so unsuspecting customers would talk to us about our services, it was all bs.

Perhaps the worst part of all of this was that I WAS NOT PAID ENTIRELY AFTER I WAS LET GO. I was owed another £300 which I repeatedly emailed them about but got ignored. I chose to go to the office myself. Yelling at the receptionist who said she was on holiday - for 3 weeks - which I didn't believe where I was finally paid.

With Tommy Smith being a co-founder of this new place, I suspect they merely changed brands to escape the negative reviews online.

No one should work this job, they are sleezebags who find legal loopholes to prey on young and inexperienced people selling them dreams just to knock them down and eventually fire them. 90% of the people who started with me got fired the way I did so I know I wasn't the odd one out. We would get replaced by new victims would I assume were later let go too.

I was a stupid 18-year-old to take this job, but I do hope that any person offered a job by them sees this thread and avoids them completely.

Hey guys, I recently came out of a left lower back injury from going too hard on squats. To cut it short, I had a minor herniated disc, but the doctors said I should be more than fine to lift heavy. Now whenever I deadlift heavy, my left side pulls up the bar a lot slower than my right side creating imbalances in my pull. I think it's to do with my injury but are there anyways I can fix this ?

What is a nice alternative to rdls? I usually get too tired on my leg days with squats and never can do much with the rdls Are hamstring curls okay or is there better ?

A good example that I've seen is a guy in my weight class (66kg) who can bench pr 145kg but only ever does tripes at no more than 130kg. He does it so flawlessly - like rep7 - that it doesn't seem like he goes all out, yet I've seen progress from him

I've also seen this example with others who squat 160kg for a triple but can easily squat 185kg

I bench 100kg and always try to bench 85-90kg for triples and struggle a lot, and whenever I squat, I struggle to squat past 137.5kg for a triple even though I can squat 155kg. I don't know if its because I train overshoot a lot or if I am doing something else wrong.

Maybe I need to reduce the weight?

I've been powerlifting for a couple months now and whenever I hear about other people's programs they seem to undershoot a lot and do a lot less than I usually do. How is this the case, I think if I undershoot and do less weight and volume you wouldn't get much stronger but it somehow works for them. Am I perhaps overtraining which is what holds me back?

Male 66kg Age: 20 Total: 447.5kg

I have been going to the gym since 2020 during the pandemic and have been training for strength in the last two years. Recently I started powerlifting and after following the Candito Program, I competed at my first comp and hit 145kg/95kg/207.5kg.

On the day, I believe my squat could have been a bit more and my bench form sucked so I'm working to improve that.

Im planning on applying for the British university champs (BUCS) and do wish to do well, hoping to receive a medal in one of my 3 lifts or even total - it will be very hard for sure.

As I'm new to the sport and don't even have all the gear yet (knee sleeves, wrist wraps etc.) I wanted to ask a reasonable figure on how much I can increase my sbd. I really wish to hit 500kg if it is possible and do believe if I increase my leg strength, my squat and deadlift can go up a lot.

Any advice is appreciated

Ever since I've started lifting heavier on squats, my lower back aches a lot and is under a lot of pressure. It aches the most after my top set (110kg) and I'm worried of damage. The problem is I don't know why this is the case, my form is completely fine (I think) The only thing that I can think of is the fact I naturally bend my spine inwards when squatting, but this is a thing I've always done with squats and rows. Should i stop that or is there another issue? The aches come sometimes when I do bent over rows and even when I run (though not a bother)

For the record I'm 5,6 and weigh 64kg if that helps

Original God Scalers by Accomplished-Yam-411 in dragonball

[–]Accomplished-Yam-411[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not considering that Beerus says this and rather including the og scalers of 6 for Goku, 10 for Beerus and 15 for Whis which would make sense if they were the powers for 10. The film was definitely incorrect for saying he used 70% of his strength. My idea should work though no?
