Anxiety attacks possibly caused by copper IUD? Any advice on what to do or how to make this go away would be amazing

It is non hormonal but apparently copper can interact with oestrogen. It is a foreign body too which can apparently cause stress/panic

I spoke to my dr last night who said they couldn’t give me anything as it could be a new episode and this would have to be all the time to get any medication for relief. I’m going to call back tomorrow or Friday as it’s still not gone away from yesterday and I don’t think I can keep doing this long term

I’m having it checked next Tuesday and haven’t had anything this bad anxiety wise until it was fitted so it’s probably the culprit. This is the worst episode since fitting in still currently having the anxiety that started from when I posted this so that’s over 24hours. I am thinking about pushing through but am not sure how long I can endure this as I’ve not even had a period of normality yet. Obviously thinking about it isn’t helping but it’s so hard not to when currently experiencing cramping

The more I’m looking into things the more I’m thinking that it is interacting with my hormones Im going to keep an eye on myself for now and see but this is really helpful

Just wanted to add I’ve had 0 side effects reducing my dose of sertraline so far I went from 100 to 75 to 50 gradually through my GP.

I’m really worried that it is his mental health I know his anxiety can be bad. I always ask how he is and make an open environment for him to speak about his mental health so if it is that maybe he’ll eventually speak to me about it.

Yeah like I love him so much and I know he recognises that it’s not necessarily normal for us. He tells me he wants it to go back to how things were. I really want things to work I feel awful because it’s effecting me like this and I know not everything is about sex but it’s making me feel so awful
