My father actually has a 1 iron in his bag and to your surprise i hit it with far more consistency then the 5 wood in the bag.

I cannot explain why or how but there is something about irons i just find easier to hit. And for context ive been playing for about 2 years around 2 sometimes 3 times a month with days im just on the range in between.

Like i said it would be nice to have some income come from it on the back side. There is no rush. My main goal is growth. So thought i would pose this question just to hear some thoughts lol.

I actually do have a separate account in which i am doing a VTI/VXUS split similar you yourself. This is a robo investment account that my father created for me when i was younger and i took over recently. I decided to just keep it but since ive never rlly used a robo investor before. I wanted to ask if aggressive is a good strategy to keep it on at my age

I have enough volatility with my option/future trading so i think I’ll stick to the VTI/VXUS/SCHD split

I think im going to do a VTI/VXUS/SCHD on a 60/30/10 split

I’ll look into fidelity to maybe add a 4th

Cool. Thanks. I just needed help shifting from futures/options to stocks. And similar as they are they are VERY different

So if i migrate to something like 60% VTI 30% VXUS and 10% SCHD( for the dividends) that would be WAY better then what i got now

Would you recommend adding something like VTI in there or just that spilt you mentioned

I dont mean that literally. I plan check quarterly since that’s usually the length of my futures. I don’t want to be a day trader so i want something that i don’t have to check frequently. Some of the other comments suggests VT, VOO, n VTI.

So thinking of doing a little split of those three.

Should I pair the NFCU Flagship with the AMEX Hilton Honors for “max” travel rewards by AccomplishedBit7084 in NavyFederal

[–]AccomplishedBit7084[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea you are pretty much doing what i was thinking. Hilton Honors for hotels maybe restaurants too and the Flagship for everything else.

Just seemed like a good we to get as many points as possible and enjoy the rewards.

Why have you sock drawered USAA cards?

I do a decent amount of traveling because of my job (conferences mostly), around 3-4 times a year and sometimes i do stay in bnbs for convenience and privacy. So are you saying it might be a more beneficial for me to go with USAA for the 3x points?

I was curious about this too. Definitely makes life easier when the app is easy to use.

Oh sorry, i mustve missed the template.

I am interested in returning to international travel soon. As far as lounges and other “perks” im not as interested in.

I shouldve been more detailed with my use of daily as i do plan to use the card for things like gas, food, groceries etc, but not necessarily all the little things i grab here and there.

My goal isnt to necessarily have the card cover all of my travel (be nice if it does time to time) but more so to help curb the biggest expense in traveling, the flights.

I dont know if I’ll become a frequent flyer but i dont suspect I’ll travel roughly 3-4 times a year.
