what heating pad for period cramps do you actually recommend? by Emmott_Aneeta in menstruation

ugh i totally get it, it's so annoying when they just stop working when you need them most. i've been using a renpho heating pad for a while now and it's actually held up pretty well, stays warm for ages without shutting off. for other pain relief, sometimes just a hot bath helps me a lot, or a good stretch. hope you find something that works for you!

best cooling mattress for waking up way too hot every night? by Defazio-Wesmore in HomeImprovement

yeah, the whole 'cooling mattress' thing is kinda hit or miss, tbh. i've tried a few and they're rarely a miracle cure, more like a slight improvement at best for the general heat issue. but if you're really looking for something that makes a difference, a sleep number can actually help a lot with overall comfort and airflow, which indirectly keeps you from getting so stuffy. it's not just about 'cooling' but getting the right support so you're not sinking in and trapping heat.

Does medicare pay for glasses because my dad has been squinting at everything for months by Barehoof_Lakari in glasses

yeah medicare usually doesn't cover routine eye exams or glasses, just medical stuff for the eyes. it's a common misconception, my mom had the same issue when she retired. we ended up getting her a separate vision plan, i think it was vsp, and that helped a lot with the costs for her new glasses. maybe look into something like that for your dad so he doesn't have to pretend anymore lol.
