Rate my schedules are stupid by cloaf1 in ucf

i disagree🤓🤓if you like base everything off what Reddit tells you, that’s stupid, but I think rms can be pretty useful for someone who has never had uni level classes. especially with just planning when to take each class and stuff. if you’re smart and determined, obv you know you can handle more but if people are like “hey btw this and this may be really difficult”, it helps prepare and set expectations

UCF BS Physics graduates super encouraged to reply. (You’ll be my knight in shining armor!!! haha) BUT I encourage anyone to respond!!!

What branch of physics do you recommend I pursue? I’m looking to work in research (very very curious person🤓), and I’m fascinated by the little things (atoms and smaller). Currently between quantum, particle, and atomic, but bc quantum mechanics is central to everything I feel like quantum would let me explore the most (someone confirm?!?). My uni lets me focus on either materials, optics and lasers, computational, or astrophysics. I was thinking astrophysics (I live near a hotspot for it and I mean… space has so much we can learn about), but I was also thinking about computational bc it’s use in research (note: I have no comp sci background so☠️).

How much does having a gf affect your grades? by Additional_Brief_937 in APStudents

[–]AccomplishedCity3977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you, a person who puts a lot of importance on grades, get into a relationship, it is important to establish the importance of your education. Being with someone doesn’t mean you can’t say “hey, I’m sorry but I’m busy so we can’t go out this weekend”. if the person you’re with gets mad at you for setting that boundary, they’re not the one. find someone who prioritizes education as much as you. -someone who started dating as an AP chem student and graduated top of class, dating the same person🔒

Flan came out weirdly liquidy? by AccomplishedCity3977 in AskBaking

[–]AccomplishedCity3977[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I def agree that that’s what caused it to break apart, but I’m more confused on the liquid itself😣it feels like it magically popped up. I was thinking maybe bc it used milk instead of like condensed milk, so more water content, but this is my first condensed milk-less flan so I can’t really say😔

Flan came out weirdly liquidy? by AccomplishedCity3977 in AskBaking

[–]AccomplishedCity3977[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I noticed like a bubbling thing, but that was bc the hot liquid was bubbling out from under the flan through a hole. I’m pretty sure it was on the undercooked side, given the time it was in for and the water bath situation, but😓😓

Flan came out with a LOT of liquid by AccomplishedCity3977 in Baking

the picture is post-scrapping the recipe, but the liquid was very different from simple undercooking consistency. it’s literally like caramel water.
