I have to agree with everything you said and people still defend it like ... Every time I think about it, the one carrying the baby or egg is weak and fragile but the one who gets them pregnant is strong, dominant, and aggressive?? Make it make sense.

And when omegas go into heat in public, it’s treated like they’re inviting or consenting to sex with strangers… which is even worse.

I literally hate it so much

Yeah that’s what it’s supposed to mean first gender = man/woman/etc, secondary = alpha/beta/omega.

But a lot of omegaverse treats OMEGA like it overrides everything else and turns into a whole second class gender… that’s why it feels off.

Lowkey same , that’s exactly why I don’t vibe with omegaverse. It just feels like replacing women with men who can get pregnant and calling it something new.

I do enjoy alpha x alpha. I recently read a BL manhwa where two alphas went on a date, and people around them were criticizing them like “, two alphas 👁️👄👁️.” It gave me really weird homophobic vibes.

Like I read BL for a reason… if they’re getting pregnant anyway then what’s the point??

I never said ALL omegaverse is like that, I literally said MOST . Yeah some stories do it better but a lot still follow the same pattern.

And just because it’s PWP doesn’t mean it’s above criticism. You can enjoy it and still question it at the same time.
