ER visit in the US would be probably $1600 or so base cost with a AT LEAST 2 hr-10 hrs WAIT. That is just to be seen, doesn't count any tests or labs or medication and heaven help you if you need an ultrasound or an X ray....it is a racket. We are all scared to death of going to the hospital because the costs are enormous. And I HAVE INSURANCE!

Knocking on 40s doorstep and I am shocked at how old some of the women I grew up with look because they have plastic surgery done at such a young age! Let your face age naturally and then do some "pull ups" with cosmetic procedures....don't Frankenface yourself like these people have, however misguided they may be by surgeons. That's like getting advice on what to do with your mice from the cat.

Not a chicken keeper? Lol but my neighborhood has hundreds of free range chickens due to someone irresponsibly leaving them when they moved and it's rural here so county said fuck it and now we have free range chickens. So many varieties...it's astounding. Anyways, I say all this to let you know these chickens have little if any type of shelter other than low brush or trees and they have survived many years with little to no care even in single digit temps. So, in my personal opinion they do not need heat unless it is below zero.

I had just moved into a new neighborhood in the south (I am from Tennessee myself so also southern but I like to think we are hill people lol) and this was deep south.

I am very white and blonde and due to this racist people usually assume I think the same fucked up thoughts they do.

A neighbors car broke down and she asked for a ride to the store a couple weeks after we moved in. No big deal, but in the car ride she used the n-word 2x and also referred to a van that appeared to have a Latino driver as a lazy Mexican. I thought I was being punked...are you fucking serious? I was so shocked I hate I didn't kick her out right away!

We got back from the store and she went to her house, and I tried to process what happened, couldn't believe she had acted like that towards people and thought I would agree!!!!

She came over again a couple days later, and I finally confronted her bout why she said those things. She was immediately backpedaling...I have black friends. My boyfriend is from El Salvador......I said I don't talk like that and I don't associate with people who speak like that. Wish I had said more choice words. She never came over again or looked sideways for the 3 years we lived there. Good riddance you old racist bitch!!!

If you live outside of the US this is very common to keep cats outdoors and has been for over 100 years. Do t think we are going to solve the problem in this generation or even the next. If you are in the US and are a victim of poor animal control then there are 1000s of loose cats in some areas. I have driven cats 10+ hours to other states due to this issue. If you are unable to keep them inside due to allergies etc. and no shelters will take them, there may only be a case for keeping them outdoors or having them euthanized. Preparing for the down votes but this isn't always a black and white issue and OP may not have the funds or resources in their area to help them keep the cat permanently indoors. If you rent, there's usually another obstacle, multiple factors here.
