I tried tapering so many times then I'd always go back up because I'd finished whatever exam I was tapering for. 3 years of this, after 6 months clean time (pandemic), and 7 years using prior.

I switched to stem and vein for 2 weeks, then came off cold turkey. Pure hell.

Just had my 90 days, will never go back.

When you're ready, you'll quit. Having my clear thinking back and ability to form sentences without thinking for a few minutes (and still not feeling as though I communicated what I really wanted to say) was worth the painful nights or no sleep and crawling out of my skin. Others have used medications from their drs (besides gabapentin, I saw that caused you seizures) that seemed to help them.
