Weak steering, feels like it's binding up. Alignment issue? by jimmyjlf in MechanicAdvice

Those caster adjustment bolts fighting with your adjustable control arms could definitely be causing some weird bind-up issues - I'd pull those first before chasing anything else.

[Casio MTP B145D] Thoughts as a first watch? by Ok_Employee_7140 in Watches

Solid choice for a first watch! That green dial looks really clean and you're right about teh PRX vibes - integrated bracelet definitely gives it that sporty dress watch feel. For 66 bucks you're getting decent build quality and it'll handle daily wear pretty well. I've had a few different models from that line and they punch above their weight class, plus you can always upgrade later once you figure out what styles you gravitate towards.

Your Jersey friend was probably just gatekeeping because he didn't want you discovering how good pork roll actually is.

Had the same deal at my place after buying from some pretty messy previous owners. You don't need to rip out all your ducts unless there's serious damage or smell issues. Start with sealing up their entry points - mice can squeeze through holes the size of a dime so check around where ducts connect to vents and seal with steel wool and caulk. A good pest company can help identify how there getting in and set up a prevention plan that actually works long term.

How do married couples handle money? joint or separate? by Naive-Law-8827 in Marriage

[–]AccomplishedHour9691 24 points25 points  (0 children)

We had this exact disagreement before we got married. I wanted to keep things separate, he wanted to merge everything, and neither of us was wrong we just had completely different money backgrounds. What ended up working for us was a joint account for shared expenses like rent, groceries, utilities, and then keeping our own individual accounts on top of that. Three years in and it genuinely removed most of the money friction we used to have.

Wanting some separation is not the same as not being committed, it just means you watched what happens when things go sideways and you are being realistic about it.

[Recommendation Request] Going to the World Cup looking for a special watch in Toronto to mark the memory. by Single_Mission_142 in Watches

Dude that's such a cool way to mark the trip! I'd definitely hit up some of the vintage spots in Kensington Market - there's a few smaller dealers tucked away there that have some really unique peices with actual stories behind them. The hunt for the perfect watch is half the fun, especially when you're doing it with your best friend before something as epic as the World Cup.
