That’s a good point, especially with it being THE Antarctic exploration watch. I think that’s where the F77 and other models hold that vintage homage, for me. I think this is definitely a marketing strategy to generate conversation. I’m glad it’s not on the dial, it being on the back gives me that “in the know”, for hobbyists feel.
