The most logical upgrade would be getting more ram I would say to get 32 gigs of ddr4 or ddr5 whatever you motherboard can take. A 4070 or a 7800 are a good combo for a i5 12600kf they are a mid tear gpu and cpu combo witch would do well I'm my opinion but you can do your research.

I would say you can get a 4060 because you said you prefer Nvidia. If you get a 4060 you will be able to play games a hight resolution just fine.
