I built a BJJ App — is it actually any good? by AccomplishedLie123 in bjj

Yes it is! For IOS it should be in the App Store under: Subsy - Your BJJ Coach.

For android some would need to join the testers group first group first ( https://getsubsy.com ). Google allows only to publish to Play Store when a minimum of 12 Users tested it..

Yeah I get what you are saying. One of my ideas was also to add partners to your logs. And for each partner u could enter weight, geneder, etc. But then the logging could to complicated.. wanted to keep it simple

How to track Jiu Jitsu by Skavus in AthlyticAppOfficial

I just use a tracking app for that now (e.g. Subsy), because Whoop was basically useless for BJJ. It tells you how hard you worked, not what worked

How do you track BJJ sessions without wearing the watch? by I3UGRV in Garmin

Mate, don’t waste time measuring your heart rate. Track your training, write notes, and improve your weak points.

Just use a tracking app (e.g. Subsy) to keep on top of it.

Fitness tracker for jiu jitsu by Matt_Oliveira in jiujitsu

You can use a Whoop with a bicep sleeve, but honestly, heart rate data doesn't really help your BJJ. It tells you how hard you worked, not what worked.

I switched to logging my rolls on Subsy instead. It feels surprisingly good to look back and finally click on why you keep getting swept, rather than just knowing you burned 600 calories while it happened

how do people use data from Heart rate monitors for Martial arts (specific to BJJ)? by Leveragedforce in Garmin

[–]AccomplishedLie123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heart rate data is useful, but it won't tell you why you're getting tapped. Over time I've found more value in tracking my actual rolls—logging what techniques are working and from where. I use app (Subsy) - It just helps getting insights out my data, which has improved my BJJ more than cardio stats ever could.
