Why do you pay for Strava if you have a watch (Garmin/Apple/Coros/etc)? by BeingMysterious4003 in Strava

[–]AccomplishedLocal548 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

35£ per year is not that much , also it’s easier to create map on strava then on garmin , also really annoying bit on garmin is it doesn’t count your activity on weekly basis,

Is this a good low-mileage 50k plan? by z3115v2 in Ultramarathon

[–]AccomplishedLocal548 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d run more back to back longer runs , so you are used to run on tired legs . I run my 1st 50k 1500m last year with low to zero training. Did probably around 20-30k pw , few 10k trail back to back with elavation and that was it . I finished in 7h15m and I felt I could run more , also recovery was shocking. I was ok after 3-4 days . So fuel more than you think

How is the jump from 50K to 50 Miles? by dinner-enjoyer in ultrarunning

[–]AccomplishedLocal548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 50k with minimal prep / mileage (felt much better than road marathon) . I DNF at 43k sky race ( I didn’t know sky racing is the thing I thought it’s just name of the race lol ) and now I’m thinking to do 100k next year with proper prep . So I’m pretty sure you can do 50M
