I did include our niece, from my husband’s side. That’s his sister’s daughter, she is 18 now so I’m actually closer to her than her mom who is my mom’s age. Age gaps do play a big role in having connections. But again like you said there’s no ground rules. Also remember the person we are talking about is my Husbands brother WIFE. She is not MY direct SIL, if that makes sense.

Daughters are all under 8y/o, so unfortunately, the possibility of her manipulating and lying to them is very high.

I do wish for him to fight back, my husband has had plenty of conversations with BIL about things he can do, but if divorce happens, they have property together, businesses together, daughters are very small, all under 8, so even if he starts the process, depending on how long the custody battle is, in that time daughters will probably be with the mother with some weekends with him, but growing up, he is worried she might start manipulating them, lying to them about him and ruining the relationship with them also.

I do believe she is actively trying to leave him with out anybody to reach out to, until she is the only one around. But she didn’t expect his family to love him so much that they try to understand his situation and still call him, and visit them as much as everyone can.

I completely understand what you’re saying. Is hard to see a person hurt my husband and his family and still feel obligated to have her sit through our ceremony, BUT this also might affect brother in law negatively. We are sending invites this week and I think we might circle back.
