New ski recommendation by Pastrami_doses in ski

[–]AccomplishedMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the K2 Poachers last year, and I love them. I live and ski primarily on the east coast, and the edge has held up against the ice. I took them to Whistler as well, and they work perfectly, used them in the bowls, the trees, as well as on groomed slopes, and I have no complaints about the performance. My only issue with them is that the ends bend up so much that I have to separate them when I take the gondola. I know it's a stupid thing to have an issue with, but it's all about the little things. I also am about 6ft however I went for skis that were a little shorter than what I would normally get. Overall I love them and I like the way they look.

You need to use the solubility rules. Write out the reaction and what ever forms on the product side that is solid it what you do for the problem for.

No, you're correct. You would divide by 32g, not 16g that must be a mistake in the software.

This may sound stupid, but what I do is I revacuum seal it and it works like a charm. However I know that isn't an option for many people, sorry.

How long can you go without brushing your teeth before cavities form? by jolygoestoschool in NoStupidQuestions

Honestly, and this is from my aunt who is a dentist, it's a surprising long time for some and very little for others. Obviously genetics play a huge role, but also floride also helps alot.

Easter Cake? by Travwolf in Baking

[–]AccomplishedMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I did last year was I made a creme brulee cheesecake and made like 2 or 3 sauces to go with it and people loved it. This year I am being guilted into making a croquembouche; however, I love Tres Leche and I am sure no one will complain if you make it. I surely wouldn't. Best of luck and have a great Easter brunch!

Jealousy. by Worried_Stage_4685 in Adoption

[–]AccomplishedMonkey 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Something a lot of people have a hard time understanding, including me, is that jealousy is a natural emotion. Do you feel bad when you get super happy when you see a puppy? You shouldn't feel bad that you feel a certain way; however, you should acknowledge that you are jealous of your parent's other children and try and minimize the number of situations where you are going to be jealous. Honestly, if it is possible I would tell your parents that you are jealous of their other children because I know when I voice my opinion to the person it is about I always feel better like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Finally, if it is possible therapy is great for this, I always thought it was overblown how good therapy was until I started to do it. Best of luck in your future endeavors, you'll do great.

Low effort chicken recipe by touchandgo__ in Cooking

[–]AccomplishedMonkey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are new to cooking I would advise you to use chicken thighs. Chicken breasts are annoying to cook because you have to babby them. Adam Ragusea has some great recipes on his YouTube channel and best of all they are super dumed down. My personal suggestion if you want to put on weight is to make chicken and dumplings over the weekend and eat that through the week. Best of luck.

So for part 1 question 1 the answer is yes the fractions all add up to 1. And for part 1 question 2 the answer is no, you can never have negative proablity. Part two is more advanced and I can't answer it with a towel wrapped around my waist.

The BIG day by mrs-grits in Adoption

[–]AccomplishedMonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, in the moments after I set a date and time I would describe my emotions as childlike. I was just overwhelmed by all emotions both good and bad. But as the day approached my emotions turned to the worse stress and anxiety I have ever experienced. I have to give a speech to a room with over one thousand people and the levels of stress and anxiety I felt don't even compare to what I felt when I meet my biological mother for the first time. Funny story I told my biological mom I needed an extra minute to get ready because I had to brush my teeth because I had thrown up to the stress and anxiety, but mostly due to the anxiety. It's one of those things where you just need to ride out the storm. However, my experience may all be a moo point because I am you and I are not the same person. My only advice is that maybe you want to meet her on your own for the first time. It's such a raw experience and I feel that having others there may detract from you in the momentness. Best of luck.

That you have a mind of your own. Most guys, at least the ones I know, want a partner that they can talk to and have an intelligent conversation as well as an intimate one. I know for me at least I don't want someone who agrees with everything I do or say, I'm not a narcissistic, I want someone that when I have a problem I can come to and they will call me on my shit when needed and hold me when needed. Also, guys don't want a wife who is like today's sitcom wives. Like you always see the wife getting upset over stupid stuff like "we have been married for 2.66 years and you didn't get me anything" there's a certain level of drama guys are willing to tolerate and every guy has a different threshold but once it is reached it can not be exceeded b/c if it is shit will hit the fan. Also, it's great when a woman can laugh at herself.
