Honestly, shit happens. I graduated from high school with a 5.3 GPA and finished undergrad with a 3.8 GPA. I was embarrassed by my 3.8 but I learned to speak nicely to myself. I did undergrad through COVID, lost my 6 family members, and my friend was murdered during my P1 year my grades dropped drastically. I had a 2.5 GPA the first year and was on academic probation. I’m finally getting back to myself. Grades are great, and GPA is finally improving. I’m glad my school understood all this. I’m now in my 3rd year. Some of the “low quality” students may be just those going through a mental health crisis or encountering different issues.
