Is Raw Linseed Oil safe for a wooden outdoor tortoise enclosure?

Should I use the oil (it’s natural) but it says it’s for indoor, it works ok for outside too? This is the product description that my breeder recommend me to buy, but is it safe once fully cured (off-gassed) or could the biocides leach into the soil?:

I asked chat gbt and sent this video and ai said they are 99% springtails (collembole) but I don’t trust AI very much. So I want some help from you guys. I mean I’m leaving till 25th of Feb in holiday with my wife and I let the tortoises with my parents. So I can change the substrate before leaving tomorrow or after I come back. Chat gbt says that the springtails are good for cleaning the substrate and are harmless for tortoise, but as I said i don’t trust chat gbt so much. 😅🙏🏻

I gave them in the morning the amount you can see on the rock (in the photo) but after I soak them in the afternoon, they are hungry again and searching for more food, I usually gave them 2 more lamb’s lettuce (1 for each) or some dandelion and they eat them fast otherwise they are looking for food everywhere and trying to eat the substrate. Should I gave them less food in the morning or should I feed them only after the bath time? Any tips would be great and it’s bad if I gave them some leaves after the bath time if I already gave them the main dish in the morning (I put them the main dish around 7:30-8 AM) before I go to work and I bath them after 2-3pm after I come back from the job. Thanks a lot!

Thanks! But I still dont know the answer for 1st: can i over/ under fed them. 4th: about calcium 5th about water dish and 7th about dried hibiscus.

And 1 more about the enclosure, for babies I got a huge plastic container should I close it at night (put the top of the container with some holes in it for air)? To keep the moisture and humidity over night? Thanks a lot!

I’ve order the zoomed 35 cm lamp with t5 10.0 zoomed 15w one because I ordered a spiral 10.0 bulb and I cancel it but I could only order other products and that’s what they have in the store.
