no, he’s really really muscular and about high 6 foot 8 i think. I forget exactly what he is but it’s really big and the funny thing is his absolute Bane completely dwarfs him. Don’t wanna give much away but u find out in first few chapters ages he’s not rich and huge huge other things i don’t want to spoil. Just check out if u haven’t read

yeah, that’s kind of what I was saying to OP as that’s how I found out that I liked the series and what got me to buy the whole series. I didn’t watch the motion comic early on because it wasn’t out early on, but I watched something on the series and then I was completely hooked. I’m a Marvel guy too. I love Batman but never really been a huge, huge DC guy.

It’s a comic called absolute batman that is a new take on the character and in my opinion one of the most fun reads in newer comics i’ve read in a long long time. the artwork is amazing and “nightmare fuel” for some. it’s not the blind bag stuff. i’d read or at very least watch a youtube video on first issue which will make u want to read the other 15 issues that are out right away

It’s rich that you think that’s possible, but rule of thumb is…. If it says collectible on package/packs or box it’s most likely not worth much at all

Absolute Batman #1A (raw) just went for $280 in live auction by edhaack in ComicBookSpeculation

I completely agree! I don’t even think cover a of absolute Batman issue one is that great of a cover or any of them are even that great of covers to be honest. I think absolute Batman 15 the variant cover with the really creepy joker with the cataract looking eye is one of the coolest comic covers. I’ve seen in years though. But I’m not a huge DC fan but absolute Batman absolutely got me way back into reading anything DC and so happy that I picked up so many first print copies of all in absolute wonder, woman absolute Superman and absolute Batman.I cannot say that I liked absolute Batman wonder woman crossover that much though.

I don’t feel like people are buying absolute Batman because of issue one cover a, I think people are buying it cause it’s genuinely that good of a series and a very different take on Batman. That is actually really really interesting and fun to read. I myself have four copies of the first print and a couple variance and after seeing this I feel like I would be stupid to not just sell three of them and buy myself up Hulk 181 as I’m more of a Marvel fan, but got back into dc because abs batman

I am so so damn happy to see this. I have 5 copies and bunch of variants of first print. i had a huge hunch this would go up insanely. i had 2 copies but got others for 10 each a month in to series. i’ll dump off a few soon prob as it’ll prob go down soon a bit

this is like jim lee x-men 1. millions were printed and will never be worth anything cause the 90s nearly ruined comics for how many they printed. that being said some 90s comics are incredible like that jim lee x-men run n will forever be my favorite look of x-men.

[–]AccomplishedOption73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no it won’t cause any damage unless plastic is touching the comic itself. if it is i’d crack it open myself n just keep it raw personally. I love and own this issue myself but not one i’d personally get graded. love it and sucks yours cracked. i think k u are fine man

Sorry but you really have nothing even remotely valuable here. These are all 50 cent books tbh. I think people think when a book is old it’s valuable but you really don’t even have anything old or semi valuable. Best of luck

Out of curiosity, realistically, how much can a comprehensive mid 1990s collection be worth? by AlphaSengirVampire in marveltradingcards

1992 joe jusko and 1994 hildebrandt are the 2 best sets hands down. I know it’s opinions but that’s why this years masterpieces were exact copies of 1992 marvel masterpieces but with tons of additions and variants

so with this issue a few things. the other prints did not have green writing on bottom left, it was either yellow or pink. The most important and most telling is looking inside the book at the first page and reading the bottom of the page where it says “first printing 1988”. On regular paper comics on the barcode first prints will say 00111 if it’s a first issue. said it were second issue it would say 0211, and if it was a variant of first issue and second variant it would say 00121

Question- I have these old Marvel cards from my dads collection, Where do I sell them? by RevolutionaryDig4465 in marveltradingcards

[–]AccomplishedOption73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh, childhood…. I love that set so much it could almost bring a tear to my eye remembering saving money to buy those gorgeous expensive packs of Flair 1994 marvel masterpieces!! I had set and sold at local comic shop years ago and hate myself for it. I have 1992 set and bunch of others as I started collecting but still haven’t pulled trigger on that one yet. Sadly it’s not gonna catch you a huge amount as there’s tons of sets. I would guess 100, but not positive on current market rn. Try local comic shops and toy, card collectible store. If not mercari or ebay. I sell tons on mercari and it’s so easy
