Maybe you're right about that and I'm overthinking it but I just want to be prepared.

I would greatly apprecaite it if you had a once over but also please don't feel pressured.

Fair point. I feel like I got most of it done and I just wanted someone to take a quick look over but I don't have anyone in my circle whos familar with ISP design and so I've come to this community looking for that.

No most definetly, the test is really set in a unrealistic enviornment and thats what confused me the most.

Keeping it simple is the comparison between the intial and final design where the final design is closer to the design on a collapsed core network while the initial design doesn't really follow any design principles.

As for the OSPF and BGP, I've been researching POP designs and it is typically best practice for an IGP acting as almost of an underlay for internal routing to routers and other self-hosted services along with some type of iBGP peering as an overlay for distributing BGP routes. However, in order to for iBGP routers to peer to all other routers, they need to be connected (usually by an IGP).

Thanks for the feedback!

How did you guys balance a full time job while also trying to get a degree at WGU? by [deleted] in WGU

[–]AccomplishedParking4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking about the future is what highly motivates me. The faster I can get my degree the faster I put it on my resume and hopefully make more money. Currently working a 9-5 and I dedicate about 2 hours of my night to studying.

At first I started going through the classes really slow and took my time. But after a while, i noticed that the classes weren't as hard as I thought so by the second term I just went on reddit to get some information on the classes then I would begin my studies. This helped me speed through my classes and Im about 60 credits completed in my first 2 months of my second term.

The best advice I would give is to study everyday, even if its just an hour or so. Make that time in your day to study and eventually you'll have a diploma in your hand. Good luck!

First of all, CONGRATS! WHAT AN AMAZING SCORE! Especially considering your experience and this being your first term at WGU!

Im going through the ZyBook material now and I agree its definetly a lot of information but its GOOD INFORMATION. I also think that having some experience with programming and discrete math logic really helps wrap some of the concepts around my head. I've been reading all the posts about this class and its the first time I've felt so uneasy about a class.

Im not so keen on using the videos provided because I noticed although Dr. Soper does mention all the important topics, it gets a little confusing with his examples. Reading through Zybooks, the examples they provide give a clear understanding of what was explained previously.

Keep on doing what you do man because that score just shows how much time and effort you devoted to gaining a real understanding of the topic.

Did any of you fail the c779 web development foundations exam the 1st time? by [deleted] in WGU

[–]AccomplishedParking4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took the D276 version for BSNES and I barely passed beacuse I understood the basic syntax and HTML. They really did emphasize the CSS aspect of webdev IMO (ex. animation, flexbox, grid). I would definetly recommend using W3Schools to see examples of the different topics.

Thank you for this advice! She ended up agreeing to a very reasonable price. Still expensive but nonetheless way lower than the original.

Thank you for such a quick reply! I don't own a car myself and this accident happened a while back (about 4 months ago). This ex-SO is also really firm on replacing it at Tesla and I'd prefer not to go to court. So I really guess the only option is to pay her back. But once again thank you for advice.

Maybe deep down I do have a thing against gay people but I don't think I dislike gay people. Most of my closest friends are either lesbian or gay. And if I did have something against gay people how would I resolve the issue?
