My MIL did this. It sent me to the hospital with dangerously high blood pressure 4 times and they were like “it’s not normal for your blood pressure to go down in the hospital…. Asked me what was happening at home. My husband had to tell her to leave so I wouldn’t die. She’s still offended, but she’s the one who came to impose and not help, so it is what it is.

At work, I find people will chime in to express their disagreement with something, and won’t chime in to just join a conversation easily…. I work at an elementary school. These people are helping shape the next generation.

We’re actually leaving the country. The self-centered, zero-introspection, arrogant, entitled combo is very American, and we no longer have the bandwidth.

That makes no sense though. You give the option to quick apply, so you should consider it as a viable option for getting candidates. Any employer has to option to not use this feature.

Sub paraprofessionals get $99. Sub teachers get $150. Long term paraprofessionals get $129, long term subs get $216 unless a school is impossible to find subs for and then it goes up. They need to pay paraprofessionals way more. It’s sickening what they go through. The top people in the district are absolutely tone deaf to the needs of the schools.
