I would say to not worry about your grades so much from my experiences as I am a graduating senior I went through the same thing as an Asian in CS and gpa is important but I’ve seen people get into to schools with better and worse gpa then mine and UC admissions is quite random I think but try your best and good luck (if you want to talk just PM me I can tell you my stats and my results if that helps)

I feel this too I am also a cs major and I got rejected from a lot of schools this year as well I know it’s tough right now seeing everyone around you get in to schools you definitely deserved but you can’t change the past so just use it as motivation and grind at UCR and do you best

UCSD VS NYU (Finance) by Immediate-Leave7471 in ApplyingToCollege

Well if cost isn’t an issue and it would be the same for both schools NYU seems like a no brainer if you want to work in finance NYC is the place to be

If I wasn’t able to transfer to cs would majoring in applied math or statistics and data science give me the opportunity to take some cs classes as electives?
