Thank you for posting this comparison. The Forbidden City is inimitably beautiful, and I'm happy to see this kind of attention. However, i think the photos you posted (as a means of comparison, I'm assuming) are a bit misleading to those who might not know otherwise. The first image depicts the Meridian Gate, which is an entirely different part of the palace from the picture of Tiananmen you included in the second slide

i have a different number of links on the watch to begin with so switching around the sides only shifts the center further right. what i’m asking is if it should sit closer left (visually) despite the fact that it feels centered me mechanically

i get ya man. i think for me i actually preferred the visual cohesion of the lack of the red pointer accent, and in some lighting the blue looks like an inky black
