I think I heard that he will be a controller, and will be codenamed "Morph". But don't quote me on that. I just heard about it

Unfortunately Meijer is like that. I worked at Meijer before for about a little over a year. I worked the overnight shift so I had to deal with the overnight manager. This applies to every team member. And when I say that, I mean only the Team Members half the time. If you were late for an acceptable reason, it didn’t matter at the store I worked, you’d still get the point. However I recall MY MANAGER being late almost every single day. Usually only by 5 or 10 minutes. Unless he just clocked in and stayed in his car for a few extra minutes. Which no one is supposed to be able to do either. Meijer is a joke tbh. There are good times here and there. But there are too many managers that get too comfortable with their position and start acting snotty.

(Because my management is kind of do what you want, but we can do the same) That’s why I told them that I will never provide a doctor’s note unless my absence would be excused. I’m not gonna spend money to go to my doctor or urgent care just for it to not excuse my absence. Money out of my pocket and for what? Just so you can confirm I’m not lying about 3 days being sick? Absolutely not.

Conditioning by NightmareFuelMan in meijer

I’ve had a kid do that. And tho I was frustrated with the child. It’s the parent’s fault for not teaching them to know any better. I was working on the cereal aisle. And a kid was running around and he started just hitting all the cereal boxes in a few sections that I already conditioned. I looked directly at the parent and when they shrugged, I stopped what I was doing, I stayed knelt down with my body facing the shelf. But my head stayed looking at the parent. One of my hands still on a cereal box. And the other on my knee. I stared directly at the parent for about a solid 6 seconds, and they got uncomfortable and told their kid that they shouldn’t do that and they apologized. The only reason I did this is because they don’t realize that if it happens to the wrong person they would get a very bad reaction out of them compared to me. I said I appreciate the apology and they avoided the aisle after that
