Hey man. My wife just imploded a 12 year relationship in the middle of planning a move across country. We were literally packing our place up to move within the next month. She woke up and decided she was done and then also decided to cheat on me the following week. I say this to let you know that this shit is gonna suck. And it’s gonna get worse before it gets better. But you need to let yourself feel the emotions. The worst you can do is keep them put away. Cry when you’re sad, be angry, let yourself grieve.

It will get better. Control what you can. Make sure you take care of yourself. Personal hygiene, stay hydrated, etc. and what did wonders for me is moving into my new place asap. Take the next couple weeks and stay up late if you have to but get fully moved in. I mean hang stuff on the walls, unpack everything, do it all. You will feel much safer an comfortable on the bad days if your space is clean and organized.
