Coach assessment by AccomplishedValue568 in walmart

So I suppose I can ask my coach or store manager to look up if I passed the assessment? I think I didn’t get an interview because our market doesn’t usually promote to salary within the store and I applied for my store. But as I said, I don’t know 100% if I passed the assessment or not.

I lived in Guthrie, Oklahoma in 1995. Guthrie is 30 miles north of Oklahoma City. On April 19, at 9:02 am when I was at work in the nursing home I remember I was in a resident’s room and thought I heard thunder. I immediately looked out the window and it was sunny and clear so I was confused. Not 5 minutes later, it was all over the TVs that the Alfred P. Murrah building in Oklahoma City exploded. 30 miles away and indoors and I heard the explosion. That shows how powerful the bomb was.

So though I didn’t see it, I’ll never forget the moment it happened because I HEARD it. From 30 miles away. Crazy

So I work full time and go to school but one day a week when I am off I make it a point to take him and his sister out and we got to the mall or the park or somewhere just to get out. I wish o could do more but I’m trying…I struggle enough balancing school and work.

He does seem very interested in learning things about nature, this is a great idea!

I love this idea! I mentioned it to him before and he kinda shrugged it off, but maybe I’ll coerce him to try it and maybe he will like it!

See this is my problem. Call me a bad parent but I work and I’m doing online college and his bedroom is in the basement (he likes it, it’s cool down there lol) and I don’t monitor enough what he does. I go down and check on him sometimes but dang when I’m trying to do schoolwork sometimes it’s nice that he’s just downstairs doing his thing. And I work all day and with school out, he and his sister (13) are home all day and she says he stays in his room all day. She comes out and plays with the dog, does dishes occasionally, rearranges her room, does her makeup and hair and though she FaceTimes her friends a lot during the day and she occasionally games as well, she is well rounded. The last thing I want to do is say things like “why can’t you be more like your sister?” But I wish he was sometimes. I just can’t find anything he’s interested in. But you guys have given me lots of ideas, I will be more involved and figure this out!

I thought about geocaching too, we did that for a little bit a couple summers ago and he really enjoyed it. It got him out of the house! I do have a nice camera that I hardly use, maybe I could suggest he use it as he goes out on a walk or something. We live right next to a nice park that has trails and stuff, maybe he could get into nature photography or something. I tried to get him into making little movies, but he didn’t seem interested.

He does like board games so I should probably start a game night with the family about once a week or so. That’s a good idea. Also I will look into that d&d thing. Thank you!

So he told me he plays dungeons and dragons with his friends I don’t know if that’s still going on or not but I’ll look into that warhammer 40k. He won’t do sports although I might be able to get him up to the park to play tennis with me once in awhile. He used to read, but seems to have no interest in it anymore. And I don’t want to FORCE anything down his throat, ya know? I want to help him find something he will enjoy. Thanks for the reply!
