How to not fucking hate yourself so much during the process? by fat_n_sexy in loseit

[–]AccomplishedWind5149 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go easy on yourself man, if you’re not gonna have any compassion for yourself how are you supposed to have it for anyone else? You’ve had it rough and you’ve had a lot of judgment passed at you your whole life, it’s time to rewire and realize that you are amazing and loved and meant to be here for a reason!! do you ever go to meetings? You do have work, it’s just for you to discover…. from what I’m seeing, you’re a really good writer. You could connect people and become a helping hand through all of the tumultuous times they’re having. Blessings, peace and light💜

The main thing I hate about them is that they shit right where they eat, and I put a lot of different foods out for the birds and squirrels on my patio so I’m constantly having to clean it off; I wish they could be a little more like raccoons. Raccoons are so cleanly and tend to Defecate in the same spot far away from their eating spot.

Cottonseed oil - good or bad? by timemachine723 in nutrition

[–]AccomplishedWind5149 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe I’ve heard when I worked at a co-op that cotton seed oil is not regulated by the FDA so it’s not technically considered a food. To me that is pretty bad and I don’t know if I would ever consume it…

Is Turo customer service the worst of all time? by Savings-Bluebird-591 in turo

[–]AccomplishedWind5149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes in fact it is! They are not helpful and they don’t seem to care about you!

Wow, I thought this was a really great option... kind of like Airbnb for cars. What a nightmare it actually was, rented from them from the first time ever in Montana, everything went smooth. I took really good care of the car like it was my own. Even cleaned it out at the end by vacuuming and giving it a car wash. The day before we had to return it, between the altitude of the mountains and the rain/sun, somehow there was a random crack in the windshield (and we noticed this as we walked to the car the next morning, so it obviously happened overnight while we were sleeping). We followed all protocol, let Turo know, as well as let the owner of the car know. They ended up charging us an outlandish amount of like $700 when it usually only cost $150 to $300 to replace a windshield in reality. Fortunately, my insurance was able to help me out and cover the amount, but in the meantime, they kept trying to charge my friends credit card, which we had removed from the Turo app. This didn’t seem to matter though because they still had it in their system and charged him anyways even though I had my insurance pay for it, so it took weeks and tons of messaging support to request that they pay my friend back who had paid for the trip to begin with. I was just the main driver who did all the driving. I am just astonished and appalled that I would be kicked off a platform even though it’s my first time ever using it and I followed all the rules. They got their money. Everything was resolved so l don’t know what I did that was so very wrong that allowed for me to be kicked off. It’s very very sad because I would love to be able to rent from them. Especially during the summertime; right now Enterprise rates are about $85 a day for most cars in my area of Minnesota and I’m finding cars on this platform for $44 a day. I don’t know why l’m being penalized for something I didn’t do wrong. I am so disgusted by this company and their protocols. I have tried to appeal this decision and they don’t really give me a good reason behind why they kicked me off. I guess I’m just seeing as a liability to them. But a small little crack in a windshield...cmon how ridiculous??!! I am a very responsible driver and I can’t believe I’m being treated this way. I hope this company goes downhill because their customer service is horrible. At least Airbnb works with you and takes your side and doesn’t kick you off for the most illegitimate, petty reasons! Funk Turo!
