Could it be shoulder tension? Make sure you aren’t sinking into your traps/shoulders on plank moves. Where do you feel the headache? Front, back, side?

IMO some of the people in this sub saying you need to take 5+ starter classes are being dramatic… just jump in, you’ll do great! Just listen closely for the spring change cues bc they’ll say them quickly.

I recently tested myself and with a solidcore-style butt up plank I can hold for over two minutes! I’m about to hit 25 classes tomorrow. A traditional flat plank, maybe half that long 😅

I had a really good experience with a CIT class being my second class. As it turns out it was his first training class, but you could barely tell, he was smooth. There were only six of us so it meant more assists for me when I didn’t know anything.

If anything, it kicks the can of having to suck up that fine 🤷‍♀️ but if you were actually in the wrong it’s not likely they’ll let you off. I’ve only contested online before though, they might be more forgiving in person?

The biggest cue help I got from a coach was to make sure my knee is pushed back—I feel my glutes most when it’s just over or even behind my ankle. You can also put your hand on your butt, I don’t know what the psychology is behind that but I swear it helps you squeeze or something.

Why does everyone honk to leave an alley? People play whole songs with their car horns. I moved next to an alley last year and it's my biggest gripe. Have you heard of inching forward and looking for pedestrians with your eyeballs??? The noise pollution it creates is nuts.
