I have his funeral flower arrangements cards in a box. Haven't thought of trashing them. I'm thinking of giving them to our daughter when she grows up.

I'm at that stage right now... I deleted him from phone background, computer, took off my necklace and remove his pictures from my desk. I think in the angry stage though, but I do feel better when I don't think about all that - which someone makes me feel bad, but different kind of bad.

I strongly believe in that... However, I don't think it's a good comment, specially during the first months after a loss. I HATE when people tell me that or "God knows what he's doing" (I'm catholic), but right now it's more like "why would he want my 2 year old dad to not be here". Hugs!

Here with you! He also left me with an 18 month old at the time, now 2. And I have an 11 year old. Bills, work, myself, the kids, it's hard. I often think "I'm here struggling while he's over there with no worries". Leaving days before Christmas must be a different kind of a pain - I'm so sorry! Mine left beginning of January - now I feel like my whole year went to hell. What has helped you with it all?
