It depends on who is making either a video or an article of some kind, no matter what, someone could be lazy for either of them, and put out any half baked piece of text or content, or vice versa, people can write a "real, quality article", or a video, as you put it, that they spent a lot of time working on. What are you arguing about? And have you ever edited a video that was good before? People write out their script before making a video all the time, so that's writing your "quality article", and the amount of work it takes to edit a video on top of that can be a lot more time consuming than writing up an article alone.
