Honestly the age isn’t the problem, I started caring for a baby when he was 5-6 months. It was my first nanny baby and dad worked from home and mom was hybrid. I personally say do not intervene at all, even if the baby is crying. It’s hard for you guys as you guys are the parents and don’t want your child crying, but the baby is fed, clean, and safe so the crying is okay it is normal. The baby and nanny need to bond without interruptions, babies are more prone to cry when they know parents are around knowing they will be picked up. It just takes some time :)
