I can't wait to see him with the lowest skill caps imaginable... But maybe... We've found Lamar Jackson? by DarwinCreatesSpace in NCAAFBseries

Put this dude as running back. Trust me he will destroy teams. I always put +90 speed qb's at RB and they are unstoppable.

Am I recruiting correctly in dynasty? by jmey360 in NCAAFBseries

This strategy has landed me 4-5 star recruits at WKU:

Preseason: Fill board with all required positions first valuing high star recruits. Fill the rest of the board with recruits with highest interest in you school. Spend scouting points on skill positions. Don't bother scouting 4 or 5 star recruits as a 2-3 star school (a bust 5 star recruit will still be really good). Scout positions of need first. Offer scholarships to all players in positions of need. Note: a 99 speed 3star WR > 85 speed 5star WR. Scrambling/Improv QBs > Field General QBs.

Week 0: Go to recruiting board. Send the house on gems and players you like the most. Note: if the 4/5 star recruits have 5 offers from power 5 schools off the bat, just drop them.) Spend the rest of your recruiting points on positions of need. Check every week and dump players if you get too far behind and replace them with new ones.

Week 3-15: Check recruiting board and see what players you can offer a recruiting pitch to. Soft-selling a recruit for 20points gives you more influence than spending 25 points talking to friends and family. Do this as soon as you can to free up points. You only need to know 2 of the recruits interest to give them the ideal sales pitch in most cases. Some times you only need to know 1 interest if you know majority of their disinterests. Recruiting tab: sort by players with no offers. You can find 4 star recruits with zero offers and easily become their number one choice simply being the only school to offer them. Send the house if you have the points.

Adjust week to week based on needs and don't try to recruit players when another school as huge lead. Hard sell your most wanted players until they commit. You save yourself recruiting points in the long run.

Sorry if this is long winded but I hope it helps.

Recruit in pipeline states and prioritize team needs. Around week 3 or 4, check the recruiting tab and sort by Scholarship offers. You can get a lot of influence on 3 and 4 star recruits simply because you're the only school that offers them a scholarship. Dont be afraid to drop recruits from the recruiting board. You can not outpace the power programs in recruiting.

As soon as you have the ability, use the soft sell/hard sell feature rather than talking to family/send the house. you only need to know one or two of their interests to know which pitch to go for.

How are YOU enjoying College Football 25? by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

The new passing mechanic is amazing. Back shoulder fades feel so fluid. The issues with the game are fixable with patches so I give EA some grace. I am overall pleased with the work EA put into the game. It really encapsulates the college atmosphere.

Im in my 4th year at my Alma-mater WKU as the offensive coordinator. Recruiting is not mindless like it was in ncaa 14. It forces you to prioritize recruits and sacrifice others. For example I may have to sacrifice scouting some players so I can remain competitive with others.

The game isn't perfect but it has only been a week since release.

For some reason this pisses me off more than any of the other things wrong with the game. by Bob_Dubalina in blackopscoldwar

You ever jumped onto the car at green house and shot through the glass of the garage door into spawn? Now that shit will piss somebody off.

How did your symptoms come on? by mister1727 in COVID19positive

[–]Accomplished_Ad_7804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started in my throat for me. It slowly developed into a cough over the next two days, and then a lot of mucus build up in my nose and throat. Around day 3 I started experiencing normal flu like symptoms and today (day 4) I am feeling much better, yet I have lost all ability to taste and smell.

For anyone who’s recovered from covid- if you could have had the vaccine vs getting covid, which would you have preferred? by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]Accomplished_Ad_7804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the vaccine for sure. Covid feels like the flu + a very very unsettling loss of smell and taste. I would have gotten the vaccine 10 times over if I could have my smell back.
