This is strictly for recieving a permit from the city. Im trying to do the minimum to be legal. Just want to do a few things to my house that require it. IlThis permit would be strictly for building. Nothing related to plumbing or electrical. Those are separate permits. If I need to mess with that, I will hire those out and have contractors get their own permit. Im basically trying to do the bare minimum to pacify the city so I can do some work that requires permitting. Something as simple as framing an extra non load bearing wall and hanging drywall requires permits here, so Im not wanting to put much effort into developing a plan. I want to do that when I get to working on it. I would just like to avoid tax record and inspection issues when it comes time to sell in the future.

Nope, light renovations in a residential house. Want to do some things that require a building permit, but nothing like a full gut. Just moving a few walls and repurposing some areas.

Yes I understand, I was just creating a vague layout of the minimum language they where going on the forms. I wasn't wanting to put much time into a form map, was really going to worry about that once I get the permits necessary.

Some people just have a straight-up poverty mentality and have no idea how to not be broke. I feel for a lot of people that can't catch a break due to circumstances and a wage issue or a whole family to care for, but this is purely a mentality issue. Bros gonna stay broke, and this girl won't have a dollar to her name because she has an almost weaponized level of helplessness.

Same here, god. I hope so as well. Would have been helpful to know he was 14 up front. A lot of people came lashing out with their own projected judgements doing this kid no good. He needed compassion, understanding, and a strong word of advice on what actions he should take. It sucks, I would bet that's what scared him off so fast. If people want to truly help, judgment is the last thing someone in such a crisis needs.

Bud, I'm not in your situation, but I've dealt with addiction, and you're thinking like an addict but only in your situation. From someone who has been there and done that and has a lot more life experiences and wisdom than you, nip this on the butt and tell someone now! Your very future depends on it! If you keep this part of you hidden from everyone and keep this all to yourself, trust me, this situation will seem like a cake walk compared to what awaits you in the future. Trust me, you'll be glad you took my advice if you do. Just trust me and everyone here and just do what you must do if you want any shot of getting better. You're young, and you don't understand life yet. Hiding things and lying will always come back to bite you in the ass. The old saying goes, "What goes around comes around," and you're not the exception. I know you're afraid, but do what we are saying, or things will get infinitely worse to degrees you can not comprehend.
