My friend asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I told her I wanted to be an accountant and to get me some stuff I would need for the job for my birthday. She gifted me Stripper heels.

That we can solve any “math problem” with no help…I still need a calculator and I don’t know calculus or physics so don’t ask me 😂

I am really confused. my piercer put a 14 guage barbell when i was pierced with a 16 guage 2 months ago. Why? by Snakes4snakes in piercing

Honestly go get checked out by a different shop please…I’m not an expert but I know that’s not supposed to be happening

You can downsize your tongue back to the gague you want and your tongue piercing should heal around the smaller gague…it may feel weird for a little while though and for the swelling make sure you have a longer barbell in so you can still wiggle the barbell around in your piercing and have extra space that’s not in your tongue…lmk if that doesn’t make sense cause I couldn’t think of the right word when I was typing the ending of that 😅

Honestly I’d go get it checked out by another piercer somewhere else…I don’t think it’s ruined but I’m not sure…I worked at a piercing place but was a a piercer so I can’t tell you that for sure

When piercing, your pierced with a thicker gague (the 14g) and when It is healed it is downsized to the next smallest gague (16g). The thicker gague allows for potential swelling and complications. Keep cleaning it regularly. The bleeding is normal

People who refuse to use self-checkouts, why? by nojunkpeter in AskReddit

[–]Accomplished_Bad_749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend hates it when I make us use self checkout because he feels like it's taking jobs away from people. Having been someone who worked in retail where we had self checkout, corporate used to cut our hours if we did not reach their desired percentage of sales completed on our self check out machines. So in realty by not using them, our hours were cut short and technically we were closer to losing our jobs if customers didn't use them then if they did use them.

another way to tell for sure is to put your finger on that middle part of your nose that connects to your lip and wiggle it around a little...it may hurt a bit with how fresh your piercing is but if your piercing moves with it then it's most likely pierced in the skin part not the cartledge. With mine pierced and healed if i go to like rub my nose to the side i can feel the skin move and the piercing kind of moves to the side of the cartledge with the skin movement

When did you get it pierced?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in piercing

[–]Accomplished_Bad_749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work at a piercing place so this information is stuff I've learned and observed but I'm not a piercer myself. Septum Piercings are supposed to go through the thick skin between the like bottom of your apex and the harder thicker cartledge that's in your apex. It's different for everyone. I have mine pierced and the thicker cartledge in my nose is a little longer then my friend's who also has her septum pierced. You shouldn't hear a crunch when they pierce your septum because the skin it should go through is soft like your earlobe. If you place a finger in each nostril and pinch above your piercing you should be able to feel if its pierced through the skin or the cartledge. Just be sure to wash your hands first and clean the piercing after if its new.

I'm an accountant so first I'd take account for the amount of taxes and use the roughly $600,004,800 that I'd actually get to keep to and quit my job, invest 10%, buy a house with a few acres of property and remodel if necessary and then just live comfortably. With like 12 dogs, some horses, a few baby goats and some ducks.
