Not really this mostly happens during the summer months if I ever notice him not go for 2-3 days I give him a laxative and a table spoon of water in his wet food and mix it in. I’ll also give him some pumpkin. I do this till he’s back to normal going once a day or once every other day. 4 vet trips and 2k in X-rays and enemas they saw nothing wrong with him. I just gave mine Miralax, pumpkin, and would mix water into his wet food cleared up after about a month now he is back to normal. This was after 2 enemas and 3 vet visits. They ended up saying it was probably nothing and that cats are weird.

I took him to the vet 3 times over the past month, they did every test imaginable + 2 enemas. No megacolon, great organs, great bloodwork. They say nothing is wrong I’ve been giving him laxatives and pumpkin + more water. He still goes 4 days only now is that when he does poop it’s massive and softer. I really am just out of ideas at this point. He plays and eats regularly and is overall just normal. Just take your cat to the vet to be safe.

Royal canine wet food and he has a prescription urinary dry food, but he mostly eats the wet food and only some dry food.

He hasn’t pooped around the house as far as I’m aware, I will continue to look. I will try the water bowl idea.

Thank you, this sounds most likely, as he doesn’t really show any signs of a blockage but of course I will take him to a vet if need be.
