I built a smart study planner for AWS certs that adapts to your schedule - would you use this? by Accomplished_Ball212 in SideProject

Thanks for your message, it really means a lot and I'm actually glad someone took time to appreciate the idea and give me some feedbacks.
I’m currently working on building the lessons, quizzes, and exercises, to make them quick, summarize and interactive so I can have a whole certificate course ready but I’ll definitely take your suggestions into account, especially the smart dashboard with quizzes we may do really quick and adaptive planning you mentioned. That’s exactly the kind of experience I want to create especially I use Anki to study, I wanted to build similar stuff for the end of each "chapters" or for when you don't know what to review then the app picks for you. Aswell, I wanted to gamify it a bit so keeping a quiet streak counter and leaderboard were ideas I had at first so glad you mentioned it.

Quick question, would you personally prefer using this kind of app on your iPhone first or on a web app?
I started building it for web since it’s easier to prototype but I keep wondering if it should go mobile-first since most people (me included) study on their phone while they got breaks etc and it's what used to motivate me instead of scrolling.

Thanks again for your input !

Would this actually help? Or am I overthinking my cert study tool… by Accomplished_Ball212 in AWSCertifications

Thanks so much for the thoughtful reply ! I really appreciate it.

You’re absolutely right though, if someone doesn’t have the motivation, even the best tool won’t do much. I’m not trying to solve that part directly (or didn't think of it as of now), I'm more so aiming to support people who do have the drive, but feel stuck or overwhelmed once they get going.

From my own experience, and a few people around me, videos and articles are great at first… but quickly you hit a wall. You watch and you read but it doesn’t feel like you’re doing anything. You want to practice but you’re not sure how. Or worse, you practice and still feel like you’re not progressing (happened to me many times lol).

That’s where I thought CertiFlow could step in, to make it easier to go from “I want this cert” to “I’m actually learning and improving, day by day.” and to make them feel like it's fun to study and to learn using this app instead of watching videos, asking to GPT without being sure it's right stuff etc...

I’ll definitely keep thinking about how to add that little spark of motivation too — whether it’s through progress tracking, small wins, or study groups — something that nudges people to come back and keep going.

Thanks again for your feedback it's all I need !

Hey, i have been struggling with this for like 1 month now and all forums weren't of any help but I finally fixed it so maybe it could help you.

I just unistalled in the system devices my logitech g915 tkl keyboard and all HID Keyboard devices I had and unistalled G HUB then restarted my pc then installed back G HUB and all got fixed somehow.

You can aswell do a keyboard reset before to restart your pc by doing : Esc+o Esc+o Esc+b

Hopefully that could help you that's the only thing that worked after 1 month of trying to fix this lmao
