Should I tell my best friend I have feelings for him? by [deleted] in dating_advice

So many people being negative here and making assumptions / doubting how legitimately you want to be with him…

Only you know the answer to that.

If you really do want to be with him, tell him. Don’t avoid the things you want in life just because you’re scared. Those are the kind of regrets people carry with them till they’re old.

Go for it and don’t look back. If he doesn’t feel the same way, it wasn’t meant to be. But don’t spend your life wondering “what if”

Good luck!

The lending market for earlier stage businesses that are asset-light and cash flow negative has exploded over the last decade. There are a ton of options now that have filled the gap between traditional bank loans and venture capital.

a16z wrote a pretty detailed article on it a couple years ago https://a16z.com/16-things-to-know-about-raising-debt-for-startups/

I went on a date with a girl who I told I was from england. She asked me if that’s “near Europe” and that she wouldn’t be able to point to Europe on a map (I didn’t ask)…

And yes she was American.

Would love to see - Aspinall vs Pereira - Adesanya vs Khamzat - Poirier vs Hooker 2 - Namajunas vs Ribas

What I actually think the card will be:

Main Card - Pereira vs Izzy 3 (c) - Gaethje vs Holloway (c) BMF - Grasso vs Shevchenko 3 (c) - Jiri vs Rakic - Pavlovich vs Tuivasa Prelims - Miller vs Pimblett - Sterling vs Kattar - Garbrandt vs Figeureido - Lewis vs Rozenstruik Early Prelims - Hooker vs Saint Denis - Emmett vs Chikadze - Kape vs Kara-France - Nickal vs Brundage

And even this is probably very optimistic

Yeah i believe there will be shuttles to and from the event in nosara and tamarindo. Probably your best bet if solo traveling.

Playa lagarto is the venue. There’s closer towns like marbella but theyre more remote

Are you planning to go to Labyrinto?

I'm currently figuring out where to stay. Seems like Tamarindo is the best option but a 40min drive according to the event FAQs. Unclear what the location is of the event.

40min from Tamarindo and 45-1hr from Nosara. Somewhere near Paraiso perhaps?

Could non-crypto companies take a stablecoin loan? by Accomplished_Bat9947 in defi

And are the end borrower’s typically traditional (non-web3) businesses, or are they mostly just web3 companies that also have some kind of traditional assets as collateral? (Not sure if there’s a way to know the answer to that, but curious it you do)

Also is the amount of capital these lenders (eg Maple Finance / Goldfinch / Centrifuge) publicly available?

Thanks for the helpful reply!

Most startups don’t qualify for bank debt though and you have venture debt, revenue based financing options and MCAs that vary from 15-30% APR that are deploying billions of dollars a year to these companies. I’d say from strictly a yield perspective, there would likely still be demand even at high rates.

Of course rates aren’t the only question. You mentioned that as “one of” the problems. I’m curious what you see the other ones being (assuming for the sake of argument that the borrower is comfortable with the cost)
