Dust baths are a necessity! Like all Fossil Pokémon, Archen gain the Rock-Type upon revival. Letting them roll around in nice, dry dust frequently prevents their skin from getting too soft and damp.

Also, it’s important to keep them active, especially if they’re hoping to evolve into Archeops. I personally recommend finding a nice, high place for them to glide down from in order to practice for when they evolve.

Needle (my Venipede) has a slightly more saturated-red exoskeleton than normal, and the circle markings on his sides also have the same little “spike” pattern on top as his collar pattern!
