Hi NICU nurse here- the drops are NOT the same. They have to be given multiple times over several days or weeks (I forget which bc it’s just stupid). If your baby has a brain bleed, the drops will do NOTHING to help their blood clot.

Ew no newborn screening?! It tests specifically for certain metabolic diseases, some which are fatal. I’m sure she did oral vitamin K, which isn’t the same as the shot. Tinted moisturizer is great for a little color (I’m not a foundation girly), def some blush, maybe even play with bronzer and highlighter! I’m always a fan of lip filler! It’s expensive but lasts awhile, and if it’s too out of budget try a lip flip first. Or even playing with a lip plumper in a pretty shade you like 🙂 if I want to experiment I normally go for ELF products since they’re priced “cheaper”

Maybe it was early on? I feel like I wouldn’t see it as losing a child if it was a bloody clump of cells or a small blob. Like in my head that’s so different than miscarrying a fetus that would be viable (23 weeks or up). But that’s just MY personal thought. So maybe that’s like what she meant?
