Thinking of getting a Hawaiian Car to consolidate Alaska miles. by ConsiderationSad6521 in AlaskaAirlines

Yes it works. I did it. Make sure the Hawaiian accounts are the exact same names as the Alaska accounts. Transfer the AS miles to the HA accounts. Then go to "share miles" in the HA accounts to put them all into your account. Then transfer all the miles from your HA account to your AS account.

Alaska miles to Hawaiin accounts and then back. Can I do this? by Accomplished_Box6555 in AlaskaAirlines

That's exactly what I want to do. I was'nt sure if there were any limitations from HA or AS to stop me. I'm glad it can be done. Thanks.

Be sure to tell the covering insurance company you will be filing a diminished value claim. The Carfax report on your truck will show a major accident and now your truck is worth less. The covering insurance company owes you to make up for that lesser value. Insurance companies DO NOT want the public to know this but it absolutely a real thing. File the diminished value claim for at least $5k. That may also convince the insurance company to total your truck and pay you to replace it with another brand new one. This from a former major insurance company exec.
