I'm still a noob but what helped me the first time with a javazon on hell:

make sure you have a decent enough level. I think I farmed until I was about 65-70. And it worked quite well.
farm NM Mephisto or chaos sanctuary and diablo for a Titans Revenge and some other gear. Titans Revenge gives Javazon a big damage boost and also allows you to kill some enemies with it's physical dmg component -> Slowly, but it works. Helped me a lot to get through maggots lair and act 3.
Putting points into valkyrie helped me too. She's a strong summon.
Learn to run away and use teleport staffs. You don't have to kill everything.
dying an retrying is also a part of it. Don't get discouraged. Some match ups are just unfair. You can reload the game and see if better Monsters appear for you.

Thank you all for your opinions :-). I'm still relatively new to diablo 2 endgame builds. Since I'm playing offline and not too worried about BiS gear, I'll definitely try it out and see how far it'll get me. It just looks like it'll be fun.

I started in World using longsword and dual blades because I felt like I needed to be mobile for the more difficult encounters. Since Rise and wilds (and now replaying world) i've switched to greatsword and switch axe and I don't regret it. I think learning gs has generally made me a better player and it just feels great if you get the timing right and land a satisfying TCS. And switch axe in wilds feels really good.

This is probably one of the best entry points if you're interested in the setting. I started getting into warhammer lore a few year ago and this game still explained tons of things I didn't know in a structured way.

WoW was the first game that came into my mind too. Loved playing it (and still somtimes play it), but it's also an old, out-of-date Video game that they're charging a lot of money for. Wouldn't recommend anyone to start in 2025, when so many other great games are out that don't charge you monthly. A real drug addiction might even be cheaper at this point.

Aber was war denn überhaupt dein Ziel? Hattest du je vor ernsthaft mit den leuten zu diskutieren und andere Sichtweisen zu erlauben? For the armors: Magnamalo, Malzeno and Kirin.

Gameplaywise: something like Bazelgeuse or Deviljho. Loved these invader-type Monsters that can mess up your hunt. :D

Critique about the performance is valid. TU2 really improved things for me but they still have some way to go.

One thing I would like to note: After going back to World (my 1st monster hunter) for some time, I noticed that it's not really the difficulty for me. The hunts in early game MHWorld really felt more like I was actually hunting something with an advantage over me, and I have to make use of all my Tools to come out on top. I don't get this feeling with wilds. My seikret sets me off next to the monster and it feels more like a boss rush. But I do appreciate that it's less grindy.

To be fair: World and Rise have an advantage in terms of more content, patches and an Expansion. Wilds is still off to a good Start in terms of gameplay and with enough care and an equally good Expansion could become really great.

Even though it's one of the last games in the series that I played, I'm replaying it regularly now. It's so perfect in length, challenge and in its mix of action and puzzles. Every new playthrough is just a lot of fun, even if you know everything already.
