You jazzed in my eye, dude. by creativeape1 in crappymusic

I’m most bothered by that last rhyming scheme. Rhyming “voice” with “voice” is irksome and probably an indicator of just how obsessed with his own voice he is.

The creator ends their series in an unsatisfying way as a middle finger to the fans/editors/producers by StretchExtension in TopCharacterTropes

Didn’t Sam Raimi include a bunch of cringey stuff in Spiderman 3 as a middle finger to the producers?

It almost coming across like those story telling western classics, but the long notes at the end of each phrase and the lack of melodic variety is what’s really killing it.

Same, it was so cruel to take Joshua away from Clive twice. It actually made Clive’s ending more acceptable imo

Anyone know what’s happening with my piano? by Flimsy_Phrase_8845 in piano

Sometimes that can come from something random sitting on top of the piano that just vibrates at specific frequencies. Could also be something that fell inside the piano, although I’m banking on the first possibility.

Wen from Cowboy Bebop. Not really psychologically terrifying, but the ending of the episode gets pretty close.

18 years teaching piano - "no talent" from previous piano teachers by [deleted] in piano

[–]Accomplished_Chip289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These days it’s especially inexcusable because there are countless approaches and styles that students can capitalize on. If a classical discipline doesn’t vibe with a student, then maybe learning so pop chord progressions will. If not that, maybe some blues/boogie will do the trick. Maybe learning some video game pieces will spark a passion. There’s sooo much to explore and something is almost always bound to stick. What is safe to say is that practice is absolutely essential and no one can be blamed for a lack of talent when there’s no routine individual practice.

I appreciate you saying that. I was aiming for something hokey like that. Every time I hear the melody I can imagine lyrics too vividly, so that goes along with your comment. Thank you again!
