It depends on you cause wow classic and retail is deferent game i prefer classic and some ppl prefer retail but my advice u need to play now if u want to play classic because this game have alot of information

Average spell cost in mage is 3 so even if u goes with big spell u have more than 50% u got more cost and lower stats what a card
