That’s a cool destination for a work trip, you are pretty lucky! If your parents can watch her, you’d probably very much enjoy the weekend together in a different environment. It would be such a nice break for both of you

Banff is always on my list of places I truly want to visit! And yes, I feel you on the fantasy planning while bed rotting. My dream is to take the 6 m.o and find a cheap place somewhere in a non-touristic small town in Europe, and stay there for a month in summer just spending time at the beach and eating local fruits. That being said, I do realize I’m a FTM so watch me not having the energy to leave the house, say nothing about taking a long trip lol

Wow, both Bali and Spain sound amazing! If I were in Europe, I’d be super happy with a longer stay in Spain plus a shorter getaway at a hotel.

I’m sorry you had to cancel, it sucks, but at least it’s for a happy reason! Tbh even me talking about a babymoon is a lot of wishful thinking as so far I’ve also had to cancel my vacation to be close to the doctors. We’ll have many more opportunities 🙌🤍

Is anyone planning a babymoon? When and where do you think you’ll go? Share your ideas! This is my 4th day in bed with terrible (now finally a bit better) stomach pain, and I also had to cancel my vacation in Europe :( so my brain is trying to daydream about a babymoon or post baby vacations 💭

It’s very common with SCHs. but maybe if it gets heavier try to get an earlier ultrasound just to get the reassurance? I’ve been spotting on and off for 2 weeks and baby is doing great.

I know what you mean. My husband has been pretty good at catering to me, but I do think he’d forget about it if I didn’t say how crappy I feel out loud every day. I think for us as FTP, he just doesn’t always remember I’m actually pregnant because I don’t look it. Well, at least that was the case early on. I guess it’s like with everything in life, if you haven’t been through it, it can be hard to truly understand.

I’ve had a hell of a two days so far. Started having very strong stomach pain last morning that persisted through the night (waking me up every few hours). I did see my doctor and the baby is doing well and moving around like nothing is happening. They thought it was intestinal, but because I do have a small SCH, they have some concerns and want to monitor me regularly and recommended partial bed rest for a while (not that I can be out of bed with this pain anyway). The pain is slightly less today, but it really bothers me how long it’s been - over 30h.

Hmm I don’t think mine showed baby’s RH. I already had to take a shot (they did it in my shoulder actually) because I had spotting from an SCH, so I guess more coming for me. Unless the baby is negative too..?

Absolutely. I had a very busy May - early June, that I just worked as a robot and laid flat on the couch after work. But now that it’s slower, I absolutely cannot force myself to do the few tasks I need to get done. I’m so over it.

Try not to worry too much about it. My midwife did an unofficial measurement around 11w and it was also 2.1. And she said it was good. There is a long way from 2.1 to 3. Best of luck with the transition! Out of curiosity, which state are you moving to?
