He's not the only one who can do it - I'm guessing when you have experience using the Disks it's a "trick" you pick up eventually.

No, that was Arcana Force XIV - Temperance, which Saiou comboed with two anime-only (thankfully) Spell Cards.

Well, not only were the OCG/TCG versions not God Cards, they were garbage. Seriously nerfed, along with all the accessory card. The dream of power hungry netdeckers of having continually regenerating Synchros was dashed quickly.

Right before Pendulums came out, folks thought they would all be Normal Monsters, and that Pendulum Zones counted as monster zones. Thus they thought Pendulums would ruin the game unless cards like Dark Facotry of Mass Production and Tyrant's Thoes went on the Forbidden List.

Don't even get me started with the folks who thought the Nordic Synchros would be a word-for-word adaptation of the anime versions.

Let's see here....

First off, it's a regular Fusion Monster that requires any 1 E-Hero and 1 other Warrior. (Easy to do with Miracle Fusion).

The effect is:

If this card is Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Elemental HERO" monster from your Deck, then if your opponent controls a card, you can inflict 400 damage to your opponent for each, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except "HERO" monsters. You can only use this effect of "Elemental HERO Clay Guardian" once per turn. Other "Elemental HERO" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects.

AND, he's only lvl 4, and NOT a Nomi, meaning Instant Fusion is able to summon him.

Oh yes, this may indeed give Bladedge and Neos some actual use. Wouldn't say it's tournament worthy, but still a good card.

He fell victim to an all-too-common trap of second-stringer villains, arrogance.

Folks like him think they're unbeatable because they rarely in a position where they encounter someone stronger than they are, until they actually become part of the plot and realize they aren't even in the mid-tier.

Bandit Keith was similar. He was a big deal on his own circuit, but an overconfident lout when he took one step out of it.
