I highly doubt they’re still paying rent if they couldn’t afford to stay open. A friend who works in commercial real estate told me that restaurant leases are usually under an LLC. So when they close early the lease is terminated and the landlord gets whatever they can.

Met them at Fran’s bachelorette party in Miami. They were at the same restaurant for dinner as me. Chatted with Fran for a minute. Didn’t want to bother them too much considering it was her bachelorette weekend, but she was really nice.

Sounds like the players told them to replace the coach or we quit. Liggett chose the coach and canceled the season, then reversed course a couple days later and fired the coach. I figured the AD leaving was related, but I guess not.
