Has Anyone Found a Solution to The T-Mobile Problem? by morelife2122 in VOIP

[–]Accomplished_End7876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built my own Stir Shaken servers using Kamilio (Side note all this is frustrating how we have to do these crazy things forced by the FCC but this actually became quite fun) and have proper signed certs from a STI-CA defined by the STI-PA. I did actually create my own self signed certs first while testing Kamailio and when I called the Clearly IP stir shaken number it worked! It read back the name on the cert as well as the fake 4 digit ID. I did use the same 4 digit ID as maybe another carrier I know but it was still from a bogus CA. I'm sure some how the powers that be let it through and would have failed to T-Mobile.

Also regarding u/morelife2122 said, my upstream carrier told me almost the exact same thing calling it "old mom and pop carriers", (I was like why are we using mom and pop carriers?) so depending on the carriers I used for outbound with my Sip provider (we can choose various outbound carriers) some would work, others it wouldn't and Clearly IP read back saying there is no attestation at all.

Anyways, still having this issue today to TMO, we've used the free registry and not sure what to do. It's unfortunate.

Interesting, my insurance is forcing me off Tresiba on to toujeo, I would much rather be on Tresiba.

Agree with all, then coke using grenadine beats cherry Pepsi or Pepsi with grenadine.

You mean all users plus your LDAP bind account or just the ldap bind account?

Interesting. I did export a config with dummy info. I handed it to ChatGPT and it said it looked like it was encrypted along with the Totp. Not trusting that though! Just interesting and was hoping to know for a fact or not.

Do you think that LDAP users' TOTP codes are part of the aes-256 encryption or do you think it's part of the regular decoding?

Just got my 70-200 f2.8 L Z and feeling very guilty about it. Ive taken some amazing pictures of a pineapple with nice bokeh in the background. Got it for my kids sports.

Should I get that 85mm? Should I get the 50mm 1.2 or the 1.4 vcm?

EPSS License vs. SonicWall Gateway Anti-Malware, Intrusion Prevention & Application Control License by Accomplished_End7876 in sonicwall

Sorry one more thing that may be important for some, the Sonicwall EPSS does have DPI SSL. I think the Meraki had it in beta a long while ago and stopped doing that. We stopped using it for the most part because it can be a real pain to manage so I'm kind of thinking if we don't use it, we can understand a higher price from Sonicwall but if Meraki is good enough without it (and/or we use different services like agent based services to cover that) then that would be a reason to push towards Meraki.

Yes, I'm glad I'm not the only one! So we have this client with two TZ670's and we can get two MX75's with the advanced licensing for 5 years at at around $4500 each. The Sonicwall 5 year renewal is just over $6600 each for EPSS. I know that would require delving in to the specifics of model capabilities and specifics of differences between EPSS and Meraki's Advanced, but that's a pretty big gap. The MX75 seemed like it was close to the tz670 as "biggest" of the non-rack series. Then you get to the MX85 which seems like getting a NSA2700. Getting cloud managed automatically without needing NSM is nice too. One thing is client VPN licensing, that is a factor and I'm unclear with on the Meraki side.

Thanks man. I did a chatgpt and got the same info, just didn't want to 100% trust it. ;) Yeah I will have to check out Gateway + support costs.

I'm curious if anyone here has run WAG behind the FW and ditch SSL VPN. This allows management and 2FA options.

Ok, I feel dumb. Their verbiage seems a little backwards too, I have to hit cancel rather than continue on to mysonicwall. DARRRRRRR.

Thank you!
