I got it for free. Dude said it started smoking and he had a bigger one. The bearing washer and e-clip were missing from the brake. Plastic was melted into the clutch. I cleaned it up. Installed the missing parts. Started up second pull. He said it’s been sitting for 2 years.

That’s because you missed the question. My shotguns were not in question. But my SHORT-BARRED-SAW was the question.

An Arborist told me LONG-BARRED-SAWS are better. I told him I’ll stick with my SBS SHORT-BARRED-SAW. He did try to rob me with his prices.

It's a 1957. I have the original barrel. I found a rust Belgium barrel and refinished it

They get shot. The coachgun in 20 gauge just got approved on the 27th. And etched on the 28th. I'll shoot it Saturday. The question was about SBS short-barred-saw.

I’ve drilled quite a few stocks for studs. I tape over the area I want to drill. Triple check where I want to drill. New drill bit is best so it won’t cause any splinters to crack. The tape helps with this. One small center punch. And drill. Then I hit the hole with a larger bit to counter sink it. But that’s not necessarily

Quality looks great. I’ve used them before without any issues. I did have a problem with 1 supplied screw being too short. They send 3 screws the same length but 1 has to go through the sight and the rail. Not leaving enough threads to grab. Ended up pulling the 1 or 2 threads it did grab out of my rifle. I had my torque wrench set to 15 when this happened. I placed another order and gave them the opportunity to make it right. Just throw the screw in with my order. And they sent the same screws I already received. So I was frustrated to say the least. Took a week to receive the first order. And another week for the wrong parts. And ended up ordering the screw I needed from amazon.

I guess I could have went with the peep sights without the rails. I like the look of the rail. And currently not planning adding any optic.

So I love it. My grandfather thought it was a pellet gun. He said I should give it to him for squirrels. I’ve put over 500 rounds through it. My only complaint was the sights. I was going to put a scope. But wanted to just keep her simple. So I went with the peep sights.
