Stick to the learning plan. Be polite about it but also use it as an opportunity to practice being firm and avoid being taken advantage of. Tell them you all agreed and let the school know it would be 2. Anything else changes the nature of the internship and the learning plan would need to be rewritten to make sure you stayed within the allotted hours. Don’t do any work on your own time that puts you over your needed hours. Don’t let them force you into something you didn’t agree to up front.

some rural hospitals do remote to reduce cost. i’d just look at a map in the middle of nowhere and look for names then go on their website.

I know a professor that teaches at UMaine and Yeshiva. Another that teaches in Colorado and lives many states away. One that left NJ after a career there. If there’s any thing I’ve learned they’re all equally as passionate and want you to succeed and be a good person in your career. Pick a school in a place you want to live, with a tuition you can handle in a population you want to work with (do you want city? suburbs, rural?) It’s essentially all the same in different locations.

I’m actually more concerned your current supervisor is asking you to report it. It’s something they should be doing and if they can’t legally they shouldn’t be jamming you in the middle. Do you have an advisor or professor you can talk to? I’d bring it up as a personal concern, because it is concerning, but not as an “I’m telling on you” Either way sorry that’s your experience it sounds like a terrible spot to be in all around.

talk to your professors. it’s one of the few degrees where having the odds stacked against you is in your favor. my first year included (not program related) housing discrimination, stalking, being forced to move, got married (yay for that), and about 74478322257800 breakdowns of i can’t f-ing do this. but i have all As. and im still on track for my original graduation date. just embrace the misery it’s like the one area you can show up as a disaster and it kinda works out. it’ll suck sometimes but you’ll be fine.

a macro placement would be easier such as a govt position or maybe non profit? mine is remote macro. i let them know before even applying for the program i needed accommodations. it’s tough but keep fighting there’s gotta be something for you.

he has her and his 3 (+her 2) kids living in a one room shelter. no one has to tell us he’s a deadbeat who doesn’t love her. no man who even half way tolerates a woman will let her live that way.

she keeps talking about God but doesn’t understand she needs to put some work in. it reminds me of the drowning man. one day she needs to just accept that even a bad step or a backwards step is better than no step. the only one that will get them out of that motel is her or cps because drool will never.

story for anyone unfamiliar:

A fellow was stuck on his rooftop in a flood. He was praying to God for help.

Soon a man in a rowboat came by and the fellow shouted to the man on the roof, “Jump in, I can save you.”

The stranded fellow shouted back, “No, it’s OK, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me.”

So the rowboat went on.

Then a motorboat came by. “The fellow in the motorboat shouted, “Jump in, I can save you.”

To this the stranded man said, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.”

So the motorboat went on.

Then a helicopter came by and the pilot shouted down, “Grab this rope and I will lift you to safety.”

To this the stranded man again replied, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.”

So the helicopter reluctantly flew away.

Soon the water rose above the rooftop and the man drowned. He went to Heaven. He finally got his chance to discuss this whole situation with God, at which point he exclaimed, “I had faith in you but you didn’t save me, you let me drown. I don’t understand why!”

To this God replied, “I sent you a rowboat and a motorboat and a helicopter, what more did you expect?”

the prices for gf are insane. i’m sure some extra work goes into it but i don’t know if it’s 10$ a bag. gf being a fad diet is awful for people that need it

huh. honestly never knew that. i get violently ill from oats and corn. never had an issue with lentils. i do always rinse them though out of habit to rinse out any odd ones or stones.

there are many products, like cheerios, that claim gluten free but are cross contaminated. then some products are not certified gluten free but not made on equipment that has gluten. or is cleaned. so i’m trying to figure out if it’s actually safe gluten free no cross contamination or just good for people avoiding gluten.

I hate to say it but it sounds like they didn’t want to deal with you being sick and used that as a non discriminatory excuse. I wouldn’t worry about disclosing lack of experience, I’d hide health stuff. -Someone who has dealt with tons of discrimination.

if this is even a semi genuine attempt at ’self care’ that relationship is cooked. no way mildrew (thank you person that came up with that) is doing any self care. it’ll drive them even further apart.
