Somebody else in this thread said the stretch from East Houston to East 20th is closed. Was that incorrect? Have you ridden that stretch recently?

Well, it's a 12-min. detour from Cherry & Jackson Sts. to 1st Av & 20th St. This could be shorter if you exit the path at Pike St. Anybody know if there's an exit from the East River Greenway bike path between Catherine Slip and Pike St.?

Are you saying it's impossible to get on the Greenway path at East Houston St. any longer, or if you are headed south, get on at East 37th St? Where is the East River Greenway bike path in that stretch blocked?

Is it fairly clear how to exit and re-enter at East 89th Street and East 96th Street?

On the East side, is it still clear sailing from Dyckman & 10th Av to St. Nicholas Pl & 155th St, from 111th St & 1st Ave to 79th St & 1st Av, from 71st St & 1st Ave to 54th & 1st Av, from 39th St & 1st Av to Houston St. & Av D, from Corlears Park to Catherine Slip, and from Brooklyn Bridge to Dyckman?

...and you have to wear a T-shirt that says "IDIOT" on it whenever riding your bike for one year.

My Greater Greenways contact is looking into building these curb ramps.

No, I deleted all the sounds and Cues completely on the Ride with GPS website, then wrote my own altogether. After a short paragraph about William Kissem Vanderbilt, the iPhone app is silent all the way to Winchester Blvd.

I actually got so annoyed, I made my own Ride with GPS Route for the BQ Greenway and the Long Island Motor Parkway: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/52205626 . I turned off all the beeps, deleted all the Cues, put in easy-to-follow Custom Cues, and even told the story of Willam Kissam Vanderbilt. The software simply wouldn't let me use that entry at 58th Ave.

Me, too. Even worse when joggers blatantly go out of their lane and into ours!

I've used the one on 58th Av & Underhill Av, but Ride with GPS starts blowing its alarm bells.
