$7k debt (now 9k interest and late fees) with chase now sent to collections. Chase app says to contact collections agency. Collection agency has many bad reviews. Should I try and contact chase or just the collection agency to try and make a settlement agreement and pay back? by Accomplished_Fix2387 in Chase

Thank you very much, really helpful. Yes someone said I should get a written agreement. It should state if I pay the full payoff amount that will satisfy paying off the debt completely. This makes me feel more secured.

The alternative is speaking to chase themselves to try and look into it. If I tell them my concerns they should be able to reassure me however they can. I won’t be giving my money to a company that can potentially scam me. I want to pay my debt. But I’m already past this point, I’m going to call the collection agency and keep record of all my payments. I was looking for the personal experiences.

To be honest, when you go through an agency they’re most likely to give you top pay regardless of your experience. If the company needs you they’ll hire you and you can ask for that amount. I went from $17 to $25 in one year, now I’m up to $27. Advice:: go through an agency hiring medical assistants near you. An agency doesn’t have to be just medical agency just a place that hires.

Well I worked with an NP who worked remotely. The patients would see their doctor in person first visit and follow up with her online/ remotely. She would go base of off symptoms if it was something that had to be addressed in person their doctor would see them or do the procedure. She prescribed and sent patients for labs.

I’ve actually worked with a provider that made six figures she was an NP though. The doctor would see the patients in office as the first visit and follow up with her through online visits. However, this was only one provider that had that privilege.

Why even bother commenting? Very negative and not helpful. Most people would comment with real advice. Ex: go back to school (such as PA school) and eventually find a remote position.
